Thailand and Laos are without doubt, two stunningly beautiful countries, and culturally rich. Our tour takes us on an off the beaten track route starting in the Thai capital Bangkok, then heading to the mountainous north of the country to the Mekong River in the mysterious Golden Triangle. From there we travel by boat to the beautiful town of Luang Prabang, and then trace a route overland through breathtaking mountains down to the charming Laos capital of Vientiane. During this tour we truly get to experience two of the most hospitable and friendly culture in the world.
Our tour offers fantastic value for money, throughout you will be staying in comfortable but characterful accommodation, 4 star or the best available, in the cities hotels come with pools, enabling you to relax and escape the heat after a day on tour. In the countryside, particularly in Laos accommodation is simple, 2 star in some cases, but always with bags of charm. Road travel is always using our comfortable and modern mid size coaches offering air conditioning and safety belts. Your journey will be escorted by an extremely experienced Western Tour Leader and then local English speaking guides at each location. Group sizes are manageable, from 12-25 persons per tour.
Our tour requires travelers with an average level of fitness. Nothing too strenuous, but it will involve Elephant rides, small boats and climbing steps in some instances. The tour is by no means rushed, giving you time to relax and compliments the general laid back pace of Thailand and Laos. The tour also provides an excellent opportunity to sample the wonderful local food and experience the culture of the two countries.
